  1. I think your video is very informative. It shows how not only you feel, but the President feels. He seemed to agree with what you were trying to say. Why do people tend to hate rap music?

    1. Great question....because people are very conservative, and they fear changes. Rap music brings that change.

  2. This is a really good video. That beat though lol. I agree with you 100% that rap music doesn't influence people negatively. I mean some of the messages are negative but alot of rap teaches you life lessons and it brings you up. They were right, you do learn alot about yourself listening to it, rap music is life. <3

  3. Good video and i agree with what your saying. Yea some songs might leave a bad message but in reality not all hip hop music is like that. Im sure they dont say J cole's music is sending a bad message. Why do you think they only target hip hop and rap artist when they say its leaving a negative message ?

  5. great video.. one of the best so far. I think it's cool that you approached a topic like this which is " HIP HOP MUSIC".. it's different , and interesting to learn the true meaning of it and its purpose.

  8. I liked the video, it shows that rap music isn't bad like the public displays it to be. People don't understand that rap music has a message and a meaning and that its not a bad influence like people think it is. What are some of the rappers that have a meaningful message behind their rap?

  12. Your topic is true, i like hip hop and some of the messages they say are positive sometimes. But my question to you is, If you could be a rapper, how would you impact the society?

    1. If i was a rapper.........I would rap to society about growing up in NC/SC and about life; because we all go through struggles day-to-day.

  14. Monica I believe that the messages told through rap music vary, not everybody raps about a "sugar coated life," but some do........I hope you understand

  15. I love the song you put in there it really fit your topic. I can see that rap music can be to express yourself in different ways. The fact the you involved Obama made this video real strong. I really enjoyed it. How do you think people will oppose this?

  16. nice vid. music really fit the topic, rap is the expression of feelings through words. like poetry. i see where you're coming being the musician that i know you/I are, but what about now adays rap? the effects of that. no one is really teaching a story anymore just rapping bout ignorant things like women money clothes. (not degrading women)

  17. Very good video, I was surprised that Obama actually supports Hip Hop. What made you pick this topic? The music also matches your topic. Also it's surprising to know that many artist have a specific point in their music that is not intended to be bad or cause chaos.
